Saturday morning projects

Saturday mornings are for projects at the Kuhn house...

This morning we finished up a wedding gift for my sister and brother in law - the Whiteners.

We  finished up a wedding gift that was ordered for the future Mr. & Mrs. Loosli.

We also worked on a beautiful sign ordered for the Salgado family. The kids LOVE helping daddy paint.

Past Projects

Brian has created so many pieces over the years...here is a beautiful wooden toy chest we use outside for all the kids crap, I mean learning toys. Live in the Sunshine is a new piece currently listed in the shop. I LOVE this durable, heavy duty toy chest...it's been outside for three years now and looks just as beautiful as it did when it was first made.

The Kuhn Sign

It took all four of us to create this huge beauty. The kids helped with the grey background, Brian distressed it and finished the white letters. Love it! It is now proudly displayed in our entry way.

The Wall

As of recently, our family room wall was out-dated, drab, and slightly depressing. Something had to be done. With a little coaxing, Brian created a beautiful mantel. It took him an entire weekend and a little help from his Dad and son (it only took three generations of Kuhn men, ha), but it turned out elegant, and more than I first envisioned. The triangle shelves were inspired by a friend's superb design taste. All wood work was designed and created by Brian from reclaimed wood.
